A quick call goes faster with a few basics on hand. It helps to know the type of bond you need, whether that is a contractor license bond, a bid, performance, or payment bond, or a specialty or commercial bond. Have the bond amount if you know it, along with the name of the party requiring the bond, which is often a state agency, a city, the CSLB, or a project owner. If a deadline is driving the request, tell us the date. And if credit or a past claim is a concern, mention it up front, because that is exactly the kind of file we are built to place.
